Title: Contra III: The Alien Wars
Author:Konami
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Bullet Catcher

Synopsis: Contra, an American past time. Ask any person you see on the street the 30 man code and they'll tell it to you without even thinking. If they don't know it, shoot them, they deserve it. (Just in case you don't know it; Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start...unfortunately, it doesn't work in this game, but it's essential fucking knowledge). When in the need for button mashing and H.R. Geiger rip off art, Contra delivers. Contra 3 is the absolute most action packed of all the Contra games. All the weapons are revamped ('cept for the classic Spread....and Laser, but laser always sucked) and there's even a couple new ones....Homing missiles, hehehe. You start out with a machine gun, instead of a semi-automatic rifle, which is probably only because the triple amount of enemies to encounter at any given moment in this one. This game gives you the option of two weapons, which you can switch between, giving you more firepower. Plus, you can jump and fire both weapons simultaneous...how much cooler can you get? On top of that, different difficulty levels, 2 player mode where you can kill each other (which is ALWAYS fun), bosses that actually frustrate you and thrice the action make this game the best Contra. If you do not own this, GET THE ROM NOW....or commit suicide: NOW.

Best Cheats: There are no cheat codes, but there are special spots where you can just point at a door where the infamous winged soldiers come out, tape down the "Y" button and let 'er go for like ten minutes to rack up lives. The 3rd level has at least 3 points like this.
