Title: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
Author:Toaplan/Cave & Banpresto
Rom Player: M.A.M.E.
Reviewer: Shane Skekel

Synopsis: It's been a long time since my review for Sailor Moon Super S fighting game for the Super NES. In the vein of the Genesis and first two Super NES games; this game is a brawler and a damned good one at that. It's a damn shame it wasn't released in the US because it could have became a hit, and Toaplan(now known as Cave) never ported it to any of the newer consoles.

Game Play: I like Brawlers and this is no exception to the rule. The girls have their own ups and downs that gives it the kind of charm found in Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle. In order to use special attacks you must pick up crystals and the more you get the more powerful they become. The only flaw in this area is the fact that they could have it to where you can have up to five players a la X-Men(six-player version).

Graphics: They easily outdid the Neo Geo, but this game was made when Darius Gaiden and Donkey Kong Country were released. However, they are still pleasant to look at.

Music & Sound: The Voices are decent when compared with the other games. The music and sound effects are also semi-notable, but the sound quality is dated when compared with other games made at that time.

Originality: Try playing this for yourself if you want to find out what the hell is going on. On the other hand, This game is fun enough to compensate for its flaws.

Overall: Get the rom or PCB if you want a brawler that is just plain old fun without alienating gamers.

Best Cheats: I'm not giving away how to beat every boss.
