Synopsis: The first game in my favorite series of all time, Space Quest I is a masterpiece that should live on forever. ...Unfortunately none of the Space Quest games are made anymore. But they can be bought on ebay and such.
Now, on to space quest I. The basic plot of this game is that you are Roger Wilco, who is a Space Janitor aboard the spacelab Arcada. The crew of the Arcada was testing the Star Generator, a device of igniting a small planetoid into a star. They needed this because the sun of Xenon, your home planet, is dying. But, while you are napping in a broom closet, the evil Sariens come and board the ship, killing all the crewmembers but you and stealing the Star Generator. You must find the Generator and destroy it before the Sariens can destroy Xenon.
This game is incredibly magnificent. A perfect blend of comedy, action, adventure, and puzzles all in one. Along with a truly intense arcade sequence, in which you pilot a land skimmer around boulders and rocks in order to get to--well, I won't spoil it for you.
The graphics in this game are excellent for the time, the best of all Sierra games that came before it. The music, although scarce[this game was made before soundcards], is excellent and easy to groove out to. [PC SPEAKER PARTY!] The plot is deep, intense, and funny at times, and the gameplay is as great as all old Sierra games. One of my all-time favorites.

Best Cheats: pressing ALT+D during gameplay will get you debug mode. You can type:
TP to teleport to any room in the game.
Get item to get any item you want.
...and so on.
