Synopsis: What a great game - I was playing this for the first time in 7 or 8 years this summer, and it was just as good as when I first played it. You will never play a better boxing game than Punchout.
The gameplay is amazing, and is easy to learn great control of Max. Beating the game is quite easy, but the only problem you may have is beating Mike Tyson. To beat him, just dodge all his "Dynamite Punches" in the beginning of round one, for 1 hit knocks you down. After a while, he'll stop with those and you can kick his ass.
The graphics for the game are pretty good for its time, and the music fits well; it really gets you into the game. If you have never played this game before, crawl out of your hole and get this game.

Best Cheats: This is pretty obvious, but when fighting Bald Bull (both times), when he does the bull charge, instead of dodging him, if you time it right you can jab him in the stomach to knock him down.
To beat King Hippo, when he flashes you must uppercut, which he'll block, but his pants will fall showing a wound, where you must jab him in the stomach.
Be careful of how many hearts you have. You lose one whenever you block a punch, and become tired if you run out.
