Title: Sonic the Hedgehog (2nd Review)
Author:Sonic Team/Sega
Rom Player: Gens
Reviewer: Randy Johnson

Synopsis: I got this game with the Genesis I bought on October 3, 1991. I was very pleased to get it. Unfortunately a lady veterinarian in my town committed suicide on this same date.
This is a Super Mario Bros. type game. You kill enemies by jumping on top of them. There are nineteen levels in this game. Six worlds and three levels per world. When you complete all six worlds, you go to the final zone. If you survive here, you win.
Grab rings. If you collect a hundred rings, you get an extra life. You lose all your rings when you take a hit from an enemy. If you have at least one ring, you won't die when you take a hit.
If you have fifty rings at the end of a level, a giant ring appears. Jump through the giant ring to go to bonus levels. If you collect fifty rings in a bonus level, you get a continue. Grab a hundred rings to earn an extra life as well. You also collect chaos emeralds in bonus levels. Collect all six chaos emeralds.
This was a good game. Sonic 2 was good also. I give the original STH a 6.
