Title: 8 Eyes
Author:Thinking Rabbit
Rom Player: NESticle
Reviewer: Italian Stereotype

Synopsis: Ah yes. 8 Eyes. Only a dirty retard wouldn't see that this is a huge Castlevania rip-off. You assume the role of Orin, a swordmaster with an attack bird who must search the world for jewels that were stolen from some king. The story, while somewhat original for an NES game, is unimportant and could probably be better written today by a monkey with Down syndrome. When I realized how disappointing this game was going to be, I decided to play it through anyways to see if it ripped off Castlevanias legendary difficulty level. Alas, they couldn't even get that right. If you play this game, the only difficulty you will have is restraining yourself from destroying the game for its horrible control. The actual game is easy, but it is somewhat challenging trying to get your dumbass character to JUMP over a pit instead of simply walking into it despite the fact you pressed jump at least 4 times. The only thing more fun then that is trying to get your unresponsive bird guy to get off his ass and help you since your character can barely kill a zombie by himself. Visually, the game is once again a Castlevania rip-off. In fact some of the monsters (skeletons and bats) are simply ported right from Castlevania. The castles look suspicious, the monsters look suspicious, everything about this game is a rip-off. The only thing that isnít stolen is the music, but I'm sure the programmers would have stolen that too if they weren't afraid of infringement lawsuits. All in all, if you like Castlevania you might like this, but don't expect much of a challenge. Take the game at face value and either hate it or somewhat enjoy it, you won't love it either way.
