Title: Tales of Phantasia (3rd Review)
Rom Player: SNES9x
Reviewer: auroch

Synopsis: Tales of Phantasia is a game truly deserving of the title ďclassic.Ē Although the story isn't original, itís an RPG that moves along nicely, revealing a bit more as you go, keeping you interested. The battle system used is unique, and much more fun than the average turn-based one used in most SNES RPGs. Of all the role playing games Iíve played on the SNES, this is one of the best, and thatís saying something, seeing as the SNES has many top grade RPGs.
The graphics obviously won't shock or amaze you, but they are great for the time and do the job well. The game has a lot of character, and isn't one that will take you a day or two to complete. Itís long, but not so long that it becomes a trial. All in along, itís an excellent RPG.
