Synopsis: This is a port of the classic arcade game Joust. You ride a cyborg ostrich that you use to dismount enemies that ride vultures.

Gameplay: 10/10 - The game is the same as the arcade version and one of the most addictive games I've ever played. You knock off enemy riders if your lance is higher than theirs. In wave 3, the bridge over the lava dissolves; so you must avoid the hand of the lava troll, which tries to drag you under. In survival waves, you must dismount all the enemies and capture their eggs without being dismounted in order to gain extra points. In egg waves, you must collect all the eggs before they hatch. Otherwise, you must fight the remaining riders in order to win. Avoid the pterodactyl, because it's very hard to kill.

Graphics: 9/10 - This is a perfect port of the original arcade game. Of course, the graphics will be dated as a result, but everything you see in the original can be found here.

Music/Sound: 5/10 - There isn't any music to speak of. However, all the sounds from the original arcade game can be found here.

Originality: 10/10 - How many other games involve jousting with cyborg ostriches? This is a totally original game and is just like the classic.

Overall: 9/10 - Anyone who loves the classic arcade game Joust MUST buy this one. Unlike other arcade conversions for the Lynx, this one is exactly like the original. It's actually better than the original because of the "gladiator mode" feature, which allows two players to fight against each other. This game is not easy to find, so you may have to pay more for it. I suggest using Ebay to get a better deal.
