So I went to Best Buy today for the first time since the last time I went, which I like keeping blocked out of my memory. I went to Best Buy because I was right there and I knew I could get this for less than the actual price.

I go to the TV Shows section, and it's not there. I asked one of society's misfits that works there where Futurama Volume 3 was and she said, "Uh...doesn't that come out in April or May or something...". Of course I wasn't going to say that many reliable Internet websites told me otherwise, so she checked her computer.

"Well, according to this I have...78 copies in the back room. Well I'll be dogged. I'll go get one for you." I wait there for 15-20 minutes, and she comes back with a large box full of Futurama Vol. 3s, which she accidentally drops on the ground near my feet and a bunch of them spilled out.

And that's my story. I got it for 30 bucks, but this time I mean it when I say I'll never go to Best Buy again. Ever. :(

Best Buy never stocks any of thier merchandise. I went to Best Buy yesterday to get Dawn of the Dead directors cut and didn't see it on the shelf. So I asked someone to check if they had any copies in the back. The guy tells me that movie comes out in the theatres next friday. I didn't know wether to laugh or bitch slap him. He didn't even know there was an original.

And he brings out one copy. At least the bitch who helped you brought out a whole box.

I've never gotten the point of buying boxed sets, the re-runs are on all the time.

Yeah, but it's fun to watch the episodes all lined up with a punch of friends and just laugh your ass off.

Had there not been Family Guy boxed sets, it would not go back on air.

I haven't started it yet, but it looks good. They have one or two episodes from Season 4 that I haven't seen yet (Futurama box sets put them in order of production codes instead of airdates). There is a fuckload of special features, like commentary for every episode, deleted scenes from 17 episodes, animatics for one episode, alernate audio commentary for the emmy-winning episodes, picture gallery, how-to-draw Leela and Fry feature, and useless clips from the show in other languages.

My set had a long slit across the top, probably from a knife to open the box it came in. I half expected at least two discs to be missing from the cases. Goddamn, I hate Best Buy so much. >:

One time when we bought a computer from Best Buy it was gutted out with nothing in it. My dad went back there and told the black guy he was going to break his legs. :lol The company that made the computer gave us a new one. Best Buy is a twat pancake. >:
