Relax. I'm pretty sure lead has to build up a long time to really hurt you.
But why are you biting lead shot in the first place?

Shotgun + Squirrel = Food w/ shot in it.
Sometimes you just can't find all the shot before it's too late.

I doubt that that amount of lead could really be hazardous(especially since you're building up a resistance by taking small doses over a period of time).
You should be more worried about the fact that you're wasting bullets on SQUIRRELS. They'res almost no meat on the damn things...

They have found Lead Cups and plates dating back to the Dark Ages, and Roman Times. I doubt it was first discovered in 1846. And their is no way to build up a resistance to lead poisioning.

I used to chew on bullets all the time in hopes of getting lead poisoning. When I was ten I drank a sizable amount of mercury, well over the requisite amount to kill a large adult. After that my dad stopped bringing the stuff home from the hospital where he worked.

okay John Lee Malvo, keep rocking those squirrel head-shots, nevermind that people use shotguns to hunt rabbit, pheasants and all other types of small animals. The buckshot actually ensures that there is something left of the animal, dipshit.

those .22 LR shotgun shells are useless. you have to be about 13 feet away to get a decent spread. You might as well just hit it with a club if your that close.
Anyone with a decent eyesight and a steady hold can pop a squirrel in the head area with a .22 LR. Its a whole lot easier than eating lead and having to dig it out of everything you kill.

for extra fun shoot a full can of sillystring with a 12guage and watch the globs of shit fly

I used to hunt squirrels with a .22, but hunting them with a scope on it is troublesome, and I'm too lazy to take it back off.

The jacket never travels with the round. It is either expelled out the ejector port or, in the case or revolvers, stays in the cylinder. The portion of the round that enters the body is either lead or a lead-based alloy.

Im a North American. NORTH!

It's true that United States citizens are more commonly called Americans and it's probably due to the name of our country. Logically speaking; however, Canada is in the Americas and therefore, they ARE Americans. While the original person to make this point may have made a misleading social mistake, he was not logically wrong.
