I only bought it for Counter-Strike. (Before CS was it's own product. Old School Mod Skill)

The entire level is a battle against the big spider called Gonarch. Get the
items ahead of you and turn back. In the left corner, you can see a big rock.
Get behind it for cover. There's a healing pool on a floating rock accessible
from here. Shoot some rockets at the spider's pouch and it'll eventually run
away. If you run out of rockets, use any high damage rate weapon. Follow
Gonarch through the tunnel. You'll find more items inside it. Shoot more
rockets at the spider and it'll run away again. Don't follow it yet, fall into
the small hole in the left corner instead. Kill the many headcrabs and jump to
the left. Use the healing pool then get onto the other platform. Get the items
and use the alien pad to get back up. Enter the tunnel Gonarch went too to
come to the final battle place. Move slowly or you'll fall down. Shoot at the
spider a little more and it'll break the webbing. If you're good at your aim,
you can kill it now without going down. Anyway, after it's killed, get the
items and fall down in the hole it has opened. Use the healing pool and jump
into the portal.

I found out what's wrong

There's a glitch in the game that makes the spider stay still so he wont fall into the web.

I have to load an earlier save. And my last save was at the lambda core :x

anyways, single player half life rules, as well as the expansion packs (blue shift is ok-ish)

i never finished half life, tfc and cs came into my life before i had the chance.

its actually fun to go back and do it whoreable, i recently went back finished it. That game has held up better then any other from recent momory, if you have the GOTY edition, the graphics area little spruced up, and the gameplay is still fucking great. Still the best FPS in my opinion.

Half-Life is a great game but the ending with the G-Man was a little soft. I was hoping for a huge explosion and nasty baby gore. But all i got was an old manwho was about to wet hiself. I couldn't understand a thing he said.

Half Life is my favorite PC game. The fetus boss is kinda easy once you know what to do :/.
I thought the ending was great. Especially the one where you don't go in the portal. My brother was 20 min. into the game and a head crab jumped at him from below and he never played again LOL :(.

AChimp? Did you have to fight the Pouch Spider with nothing but the BEE GUN??? Cause I had nothing but sachel charges and the BEE GUN.

I only had the bee gun and the crowbar. It's impossible to kill it with those weapons and not die (although the crowbar is handy for those little spiders it shits out), so I had to start over and conserve more ammo. :(

I found out that I didn't even need to jump at all. I found out it was so easy I beat him twice just to see both endings.

They both weren't that great :(

Counterstrike for PC was awesome until the hackers took over. I could put up with the regular 12-year-olds because they were easy to beat, and I almost always ignore what people type.

I remember a few times when I got 100+ kills that people would accuse me of hacking, especially when I killed the same person a dozen times in a row. :O Not my fault if they always walked in the open.

The leg thing was easy to get past once you figured it out: always throw a grenade in the opposite direction of where you want to go... or aim one to blow up right in the hole.
