For what it's worth (being an online petition) there is a petition going for a memorial to be built in Echo Park Los angeles.

Well, he's music was definitely dark. But I felt it was a therapy for him, obviously though it wasn't enough. If you read the last interview before he died he seems really positive and excited about the future. Also, the autopsy was inconclusive, and the cause of the death is unknown, not suicide.

didnt think much about him until a friend made me listen to an abum of his (dunno the title, red and blue swirls all around it though), and i liked it a lot, and just last week i found he had a fucking good song in the royal tenenbaums... so yeah, i'll sign, though i'll never see it.
