I liked it :<
Usually you see movies that are sub-par but have great defining moments. I felt that this whole movie didn't have any such moments, but was as a whole very, very good.

It was weak. I liked a lot of the little shit, but it all added up to be pretty lame. The ending was complete crap. I would have loved it if they actually did kill the Lady. That way it would have at least been different than the original.

You're just mad because you think the Coen brothers "sold out" by not plastering their name in front of the movie's title. :lol

Actually, I'm made because they sold out and made Hollywood shit. The last two films have been the only two they didn't write themselves or create the original idea; so instead of clever, witty scenarios we get vaccous bullshit like this and Intolerable Cruelty. The films are still medicore and all, compared to most Hollywood bullshit (like, Achimp, everything you watch) they are fairly good, but in the grand scheme of things, they are highly disappointing. I think the worst part is that the movie just aren't very good. Lots of directors have been able to go to Hollywood without completely destroying their integrity and style, but the Coens have failed miserably.

Because if you make two "just okay" movies, you must be a bad director. :rolleyes

Did I say that? I think they are great filmmakers just due to all of the great films they have made, but that doesn't mean their last two films have been medicore. It's fine, they don't owe me anything, I'm merely stating my displeasure at their downturn. I still believe they'll come back and make another classic.

Take a hike Royal I'll handel this.
The ladykillers was a movie too hot to trot, and it burned the soles (or should i say souls) of the actors and the audience that watched it. It's was tamed like a domestic gerbil, only to die from starvation of the efforts to draw out the story. Some movies should just be left alone.
2.5/5 stars for the lady killers.
