Toby is perfect for the dorky role of Spiderman, they definitely did good with that. Still, I found the first Spiderman movie to be pretty boring on a whole, and I hate what they did with the Green Goblin. The X-Men movies absolutely destroy Spidey.

I agree with you, Rog. I'm hoping the boredom of the first movie had more to do with the fact that it was the origin pic of the series, and was not indicative of the lack of talent of those involved.

I loved Spider-man and X-men... I still like Spider-Man more, probably because I liked the comic when I wa l'il. I was never too big on the X-men.

I always thought Doc Oc was one of the lamest enemies, though... hopefully they'll pull it off.

Since they are making Doc Oc a thug for hire instead of a mastermidn, this will probaly suck. Hellboy and the X-men movies were alot better then the Spider-man movie.

The first X-Men movie was decent, but I found it to be kind of boring as far as the plot went. The second one was tremendously better but I'd still rank Spider-Man high above them both.

I thought Dunst's part was terribly written in the first one, hopefully she won't still be Daisy Duck with human face in this one. Molina looks cool as http://www.encyclopedia-obscura.com/ext/ice.gif, and I damn near came when I saw pedophile guy from Happiness is in it.

Spidey, however, looks like he's rendered on a Gamecube. Let's hope they've tweaked him up a bit after they finished the trailer.

Other than that, the trailer sucked pretty hard. The end was terrible as soon as the opera kicked in, so lame. Also, the text was just way too cliche. "A Man" "Will Face His Destiny"... so boring.

Really only venoms face would have to be CG. And when he would shoot his simbiot (yeah it's not how you spell it) goo or morph. I bet with some editing he could have a live action body. He'd just have to be really wet all the time.

And Venom should be in 3 because venom(or some other super foe) always signals the end of something so i say he should be in the next spiderman movie. Doc Oc sux balls :(

I don't think he looks like he's rendered on a GC, it just looks like his costume is brighter then the first movie :/. I really liked the first Spider Man, but, Doc Oc is kinda lame :/

my interest for this movie came to an end when the rumors of christopher walken as doc oc ended. though he wouldnt have suited the role well...id have loved it.
