Last year, Futurama and Family Guy reruns did so well that it's likely both shows (which Fox killed in prime time) will produce new episodes.

if it comes back i hope it doesn't come back all preachy and gay like it ended >: the puppy episode makes huond feel sad inside :(

It was only preach and gay because they were forced to wrap story-arcs, but that's still no excuse for it to be completely humourless. Of 20 odd episodes I think I liked maybe 3, and they would have been the worst episodes in season 2. :(
I hope it comes back anyway, and I'm sure they've come up with lots of great ideas since they left off. :(

Yeah, Futurama is a million times better than the new Simpsons episodes. :(

I got a misty eye. That episode made me feel. I will never forgive.

If reruns doing well = show back in production, there would be an awful lot of shows making comebacks. A show needs a network to air on before it makes a comeback, and neither Cartoon Network nor Comedy Central wants to buy Futurama because the computer graphics make it so damn expensive to do each episode.

The Critic was the first show to do a Kool Aid guy joke. >:
The scenes with Jay's Dad and Wilson from Home Improvement are classic.
