recently a couple of us mockers (sam, rongi, and I) have been playing lots and lots of mame games to include but not exclude battletoads, simpsons, and marvel vs. capcom.

We should like totally have like MvC or other game tournaments or group action games or something :(

It's criminally easy to use. All you have to do is download the zip file and save it in the "roms" folder that the program comes with. SNK fighters are different, so when i get those set up, i'll let you know. But you don't need to extract the files or anything, you just leave them zipped. I'll be on later tonight, too, when you wanna set up a game.

You need to use MAME32X. It has an option under File that says "Play Network Game," and the rest is all visual.

By the way, you can play all those SNK games byt downloading the Neogeo.zip from here (http://www.planetemu.net/php/roms/roms.php3?cat=mame-N). Just put it in your roms folder like a normal game. I am so gonna whip some ass with Rock Howard 8-).

All you need is MAME32K and some Roms, slutty. You can get the roms at http://www.romnation.net or at http://www.planetemu.net (go here and get the neogeo.zip, you'll need it) and then you're set. Just get me on aim early tonight and i'll see who all can play what.

I'm working on them as well. I'm going to try to use the hacked version of mame32k he uses and see what i can do with it. I'll be on later tonight around 9, 9:30ish to see if i can help you dudes out. I might make the file Whoreable wants and then FTP it to him if he can find the space.

Okay, so i've gotten some of the new ones to work. Here's what you've gotta do:

1. Download the MAME32K Hack (http://torrential.topcities.com/mame32k0.64en.zip).

2. Unzip the program into a folder of your choosing.

3. In said folder, create a new "roms" folder.

4. Put your roms in the folder, making sure that they're named as he says. SNK VS Capcom Chaos should be called "svc.zip"

To patch a ROM, do the following:

1. Download the original rom.

2. Download the patch.

3. Unzip them both into separate folders named after their respective zip files (mslug5 for the original and mslug5patch for the patch)

4. Copy the files in the patch folder (not the readme files)

5. Paste said files into the folder named after the original zip, replacing the old files if necesary.

6. re-zip the old folder and name it after the current folder, (Zip Mslug5 into a zip file called mslug5.zip) making sure to replace the old one.

7. Go to M32k Hack and go to file > Audit All Games.
