I got fired today...
The owner of the company didn't think I was cool enough to work there. Now I have to start looking for work again.
Everyone else liked me and thought I was cool, and I wasn't even an asshole to everyone. I was nice to everyone. I tell you, this sucks...
Well... I'm off to look for work on Craig's list...

I worked at A cafe that was owned by dirty Hippies, I didn't smoke pot, or smell bad or something...
So yeah I didn't meet their Image.

RG, I'd love to but all my stuff is here, and um... I like portland, I've move way too much aready, and I'm just starting to make friends here.

Do they sell paper towels at Wal Mart? There's one close by and I usually have to go all the way to Costco (10 miles or so from my home) in order to get them. I use alot of paper towels when I eat. I hate making a mess and I don't want any of my cats to lick hot sauce or something off my face, they might get sick.

Thanks Z-money... I'm looking hard for work, but PDX is hard to find a chef job in... I'm applying for frycook, cookie decorator, and Barista right now... Also RG hooked me up w/ a job doing porn, so I'm going to try that for a little bit, just for an extra bit of income. All I have to do is take some pics., send them in, and BLAMO! $50 for Danno!...

The absolute bottom of the unemployment pitt for me came during the ressision of the late eighties. All my freelance comedy clients moved to NYC or LA, my comedy group wasn't getting any college gigs anymore and we couldn't make our monthly van payment let alone pay the members and I just couldn't accept that I would have to go and look for a real job with a real boss. I worked three days at an upscale bakery and then this woman walked in and asked me "Those Walnut Dream Bars... do they have... Walnuts in them" And I quit. So I went down to the medical district, newspaper in hand, to 'audition' for medical experiments. And I got turned down for every single one.

Well, see I was trying to get into a study as a control subject, you know, 'healthy males, 20-30's', but my bloodpressure is pretty erratic and I take medication for migraines. Between those two things, and a nasty recurring upper respiratory infection, I always got turned down.
