View Full Version : Sean 'Hannitizes' a 'pothead'

So I was listening to the Sean Hannity Show the other day (don't laugh), and he was foaming at the mouth about the recent idea of prescribing marijuana for kids with ADD/ADHD. Nothing abnormal so far.

He takes a caller who, before saying anything, gushes about how much he loves Sean and like-minded "libertarian" Neal Boortz. The caller then says he wants to talk about the "pot for ADD" issue. I'm paraphrasing what followed, but it was pretty similar:

Sean: Are you a pothead?
Caller: No.
Sean: Do you smoke pot?
Caller: Yes.
Sean: How often?
Caller: Once a day.
Sean: So you're a pothead.
Caller: I don't want to explain my habits now. Can we talk about ADD?
Sean: You're an addict and you have a problem. Do you have kids?
Caller: Yes.
Sean: I'm going to make an offer; I'll donate $100 to a charity of your choice if you give up pot.
Caller: Look, I just want to talk about ADD.
Sean: I don't want to talk to you about that now. Will you take my offer? Will you be a man and accept the challenge?
Caller: Look, Sean, I just want to say that I love what you do, I agree with your ideas, and I just wanted to talk about the issue.

[caller hangs up]

Sean: Fine. He doesn't want to take my challenge. That's fine.

I would have replied with an offer of my own. donate 120 bucks to the Bush campaign if he gave up ignorance

That's Sean Hannity in a nutshell. Those ëmotional arguments"you talk about, well he's the king of sap. Sean Hannity makes for good radio, because it's like going to church. He offers you clear stories about right and wrong, with little inbetween. I was unfortunate ebough to live in new york, in a talk radio family. :(

I was going to make a post disparaging potheads, but I have a brother-in-law who has four relatively normal kids and a successful job but still smokes weed. Smoke away, I guess.

The dutch smoke pot and speak three languages. Our ignorant asses struggle to learn one in high school.

Edit - Anybody that thinks that smoking pot is not as justified as Smoking Cigarettes, and drinking is a ignorant dum head, or someone who works for a pharmie company. >:

They did a couple Sean Hannity tirades on the Daily Show when they did a brief segment called "great moments in punditry". Good stuff, though mostly about him threatening to turn people's mics down.
