Widespread Panic does a mean "Joe's Garage". Only rarely though. :(
They also do a good "Life During Wartime".

The Dead doing "Not Fade Away" and "Going Down the Road Feeling Bad" are classic. They also do good Dylan covers.

Los Straitjackets - My Heart Will Go On
Devo - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing & Life By The Drop
Johnny Cash - Hurt

I've heard different people say different bands did it, but whoever did the country-honky tonk version of "Jin and Juice" was pretty good.

I remember when a lot of 80s punk bands would cover the Gogos. I can't remember them all but it happened a lot.

Disfear did an awesome cover of Zeke's "Revolution Reprise," And when Obituary did "Buried Alive," they made Venom sound GOOD. You also can't go wrong with Cannibal Corpse's cover of "Zero the Hero," and Isis did a fuckin' awesome cover of "Streetcleaner." But i don'tt wanna go on forever, i have an unhealthy obsession with cover songs.

PS. Therion did "Under Jolly Roger" and "Thor the Powerhead" as good as the originals. :o
