So I'm browsing through the music DVD's at my local jaunt and I pick up this DVD by the band Cradle of Filth, called PanDaemonAeon.
I turn it over to find a few demented images (some remind me of a tool video) and I read:
With both feet planted in the grave and tongue hilted firmly in Satan's cheek, cult director Alex Chandon must surely face the death penalty for this, Cradle of Filth's long awaited foray into terrorvision.
Now I had never heard CoF's music (mistake) but the back cover grabbed my soul by the balls. This was too cool. I had to fucking get this.
Now after having seen this thing I will say that the video "looked" great....it was like some weird fucked up 80's satanic cult movie mixed with a tool video and some nekkid midgets and goth boobies.
But the music fucking SUCKED!
I think it was mainly the singer. First of all the guy looks like a albino elf vampire baby on crack. Which might not be a bad thing if he didn't sing like one too. This has to be the first singer I've ever heard where I wonder who actually thinks this guy has talent.
I don't know. I like death metal and all but I guess I had higher hopes. I still recommend everyone see the video "From the Cradle to Enslave" as I can almost guarantee some damn good laughs. :)
