5 hours of Manowar. I'm spent. It is funny though, especially when they're talking about themselves. It also has a video archive and a "making of" segment for a few of them. If you like Manowar or are just entertained by silliness this is good. Opinions?

I haven't seen it and never will, but my general opinion on them is : bordering ridicule, sometimes not avoiding to fall completely into it. In spite of their technical excellence.

Awwww come on blob, you could even appreciate the pompous goofiness of this! This is prime make-fun material. If I were funny I'd do it. And whoreable, my dear I think you'd like it just on the principal of thier immovable self interest and obvious vanity. Joey (the bassist) is looking more and more like Al Pacino and still thinks himself the biggest sex god ever of metal. Besides who can deny the "Gloves Of Metal" video? There's 2 versions of it on there and I can not get enough of Manowar oiled up in ferret pelts. All in all, I love this band for all intensive purposes. The music is great and they parody themselves so well that no one else could have done a better job of a mockumentary.

Well yes, probably watching the video would do it, but I must admit I just can't get myself to actually listen to this kind of music in a "second degree" spirit (I know the term doesn't exist in english but I don't know the proper term hehe ... like, "it's shit and that's why I love it", like I love listening to village people if you wish). Pompous metal just bores the shit out of me, I guess.
Although I am guilty of appreciating Manowar's Achilles, etc track in spite of the pompousness.

I've gotten sick of making fun of manowar a few years ago. There's so many greek manowar fans (honest to god fans, not 'second degree' as blob says) that it's gotten a bit boring to battle them over how silly manowar are. And they're one of the few US epic bands that absolutely bore me to tears musically also.
