Hypercube was indeed crappy. If you take "Cube", a so-so kinda sorta ok good movie, remove the tension, writers, good actors, and add a budget Hypercube is what you get.

Absolutely right on the budget comment! Cube was almost an okay movie because you knew not to expect much. Hypercube was supposed to be "Soooooooo much better" because they got financial backing. Oh well. And White Girls are hot, but only if they try NOT to look like Brittney Spears, Olson Twins, the Revlon Girl, ETC...
