I figured since people were grabbing at nothing over in my Hooters thread, I'd make a new one over here that would satisfy their need to use their misconceptions in mildly humorous ways at my expense. I hope you enjoy.
So, a girl who I really like is in a relationship with someone else, but things are really looking to be coming to an end. So how would I go about getting myself into the picture? I'm not talking about any underhanded methods here, but I'm just wondering what might be the best way to kind of move in after/if they break up.

Just be her friend you retard. If she breaks up with the guy chances are she'll want some "alone time." This may or may not be a bullshit excuse. But, either way, I say just try and hang out with her, flirt with her, and then after a couple months when the tension becomes unbearable, kill yourself. Oh wait, no, just tell her how you feel after that. I find the best way to get a woman into a relationship that is serious is to prove you actually want her friendship as well.

DO NOT BE HER FRIEND... I REPEAT, DO... NOT... BE... HER... FRIEND!
You will be her "good friend, that's a boy", but never the boyfriend.
Wait a few day/weeks after the realationship is over then ask her out.
Don't be yourself, you want her to like you...

God, I hate that shit. YOU CAN BE FRIENDS WITH WOMEN, but still be seen sexually. Damn it, I was pretty good friends with my girlfriend, and now we are together. So it's just bullshit.

What i meant with "dont risk it" was to put that friendship up to "thick" before the relationship, so as not to be identified as only a friend, but as a possible lover. you dont want to give her the wrong signals "oh he must just want to be good friends, ill get chuck to ask me out instead" or something like that. of course there has to be friendship there, but send out those "very interested" signals also, thats if you want to get this chick and not become a taxi or "gofer boy" or listen to her cry over the phone about other guys.... how much would you value that friendship then :lol

Well, yeah, you have to flirt with her so she knows that you have interests in that way. Just don't push it beyond a line until you're confident.

I think it is possable to be friends w/ women, I just get pissed when I hear about people "being there" for someone who they like, when they get dumped. It's manipulitive bullshit. If you wanted to be such a good friend you are there from day one, If you become such a good friend because3 you want to get w/ someone... That is complete crap.
I have sevral friends that are women, hell most of my friends are women. So what I said was because 1)don't be a friend for the wrong reasons 2)I have a feeling James will fuck it up bad, and it will all blow-up in his face (hey james what if you try and be there for her, and she get's back w/ her Ex... Your insides will feel like they are bleeding)...
THAT IS ALL!
