Windwaker 2 has some potential also. As long as they don't fuck it up again. >:

Storyline? In Zelda? Well, it's probably gonna be about how Link goes through a bunch of dungeons and find items that 90% of the time are conveniently the key to defeating the boss of that dungeon. Then he goes off to fight Ganon or Ganondorf or some giant faggy dream fish. Special guest appearance by Tingle.
I bet this is actually just going to be some sort of DDR clone. You know, in case Donkey Konga doesn't do so well.
But seriously, it does look nice, though they'll hopefully fix the animation. We'll just have to see how it's going to play.

Yeah. Probobally. But at least it isn't like FF where the same thing happens every time. AM I RIGHT JAMES???
Yeah, the story is going to be about the same as the old ones. But, the story isn't what's so great about zelda. It's the gameplay. Something FF dosn't have much of. Doofus faggot

I meant more of the storys base. OOT was about the sages, MM was the meteor, WW was the kidnapped sister.
I mean, how many fucking times can you seal Ganon. >:

As long as the dungeons are interesting, the "puzzles" start getting better like before and the gameplay is still fun, I could stop Ganon til I'm 60.

maybe the story is based around ganons taking over of hyrule (as described in the wind waker intro)
(this was a very bad guess by the way)

This Zelda looks like what Nintendo promised us with that trailer back when GameCube was first coming out.
And what Soul Calibur teased us with.
Sword on Horseback, impressive, darker style graphics... holy shit, I might just fall into seizures right now.
Wind Waker was cute, a fun little game to pass the time between OoT and this new game.
Majora's Mask was a major let down, the bosses sucked, I hated the temples, even more so then the Water Temple in OoT... The only fun was the ability to kick so much ass after you recived the fierce diety mask. (To bad you couldn't run around town with it.)

I have this feeling that this game will be the story from the orginal LoZ NES game, but with more detail.

I'd love it if this game had voice acting. With Ocarina of Time, the Zelda series showed that it could present itself with a cinematic flair, and I think this game could really shine with voices incorporated. And while we're on the subject of sound, I also hope they incorporate more of those too. I never played Wind Waker, but the N64 games felt a little flat with a lack of ambient noises and enemy sounds.
And it would also be really funny if they made Link say "Well excuuuuuuuse me, Princess!"

I'm pretty sure that the conspicuous lack of voice acting in the Zelda games is intentional, james, and I don't think it would be the same if they included it. it wouldn't have the same feel if Link had a voice...or Samus for that matter. it works for Mario because they can pull off that Italian stereotype (heh).

I don't count Mario's 3 words of speech as voice acting. :(
I know that the idea of Link is that he's silent. He's never even had any text for his part, let alone a voice. But I think that given the nature of the games, it would really help to give the characters more... character, by adding voices. Especially in a game where the design isn't as fruity.

Link shouldn't get text or voice acting. That's fine if other people get voices in the game but Link doesn't need one. His answers/replies are interpreted by the player. It's a good style. Not only that but the game doesn't require a bunch of dialogue and I hope they leave it that way. It's a adventure game and gameplay/dungeon crawling is what its all about. Link is about getting down to business.
He should however re-nact his tales like Mario does in SMRPG when talking to people, now that would be awesome. :)

I disagree. I think that Ocarina really showed how epic the series can really be, and rounding it out with more atmosphere and character is really where the series needs to go, especially to help keep the games from feeling "flat."
I'm not saying it needs to be dialogue-heavy at all, but I do think they need to flesh out the world with some more life put into it. And while the main characters of Nintendo games have always ended up being mute (even when people are talking right to them), it'd be really nice if they could just stop doing that.

I'm interested in plot, character/enemy variety and a shitload of boss/minibosses.
I feel if they tried voice acting it'd seem fake. More characters sounds wouldn't hurt though. I like goron sounds. :(

A solid story is a must but I don't want anything getting off track. Zelda isn't really a story driven game and I don't want to see it become one. More NPCs and the such is always a good thing though.
However, if they do a good job and keep everything "Zelda" intact, then I don't have a problem.
