What exactly is it? I've heard someone call the band Windir viking metal, and it just sounds like power metal with black metal vocals. Which was of course, pretty gay >:

Apparently, Finntroll is Viking metal. Despite being Finnish, their vocals are in Swedish.

I thought their vocals were gibberish. Or do they have some mellower tunes than the rip-your-throat-out stuff I've heard?

Of course, their instrumental parts are good enough for me to overlook the quality of the singing.
