Yeah, they're pan and scan, but that's pretty much the only format you could buy stuff for on VHS.

when that one boring day comes around after episode 3 is out on dvd / video (and after being released in theatres) when i watch all 6 in order, i'll watch episode 1, 2, 3, normal, but then pop in my vhs's of the ORIGINIAL 4, 5, and 6.

Clever, but not original, and it doesn't make up for the atrocities he commits to his own movies.
