I played that a while back. I got up to the third (I think) dungeon with all the water and pipes and swtiches and all. Then, after 2 days of wandering aimlessly, I finally figured out what I had to do to get to the boss. I did so, and was promptly killed.
Then I threw the controller away angrilly and vowed never to play it again.

The only Zelda games worth playing are the first one and Link to the Past. :/

MM is the second best, jerkface.

I thought it was the best, because it had better graphics. A better (I think) story than any other Zelda before it, and cooler boss fights.
In all other games, you knew you had to save the people, but you had no motivation to save them other than "to beat that game." Majora's Mask was different. You connected with everyone. You got to know them, you helped them live, made there lives better. You had a motivation to save them other than beating the game.

I just played through Link to the Past not long ago, and I have to say it didn't survive the test of time. It's pretty boring nowadays. :/

Majora's Mask is indeed a great game. The only beef I have with it is that it's too short. I was devestated when I found out the fourth dungeon was the last.

adventure of link is the bomb yall
man nintendo had some serious balls back then to take such a hit as zelda and change the format so much
majoras mask was boring

It wasn't so much boring, as it was frustrating. Having to return to the first day over and over again got annoying, especially since (I think) there were some tasks that would reset each time.
It's still an enjoyable game. But really felt more like it should have been tacked on to OoT as an unlockable.
I think we can all agree, though, that OoT is the peak of Zelda games.

I'm not sure I can agree to that. I hold A Link to the Past very near and dear to my heart. It's a great game. I still remember playing it so long ago, beating that third palace and heading to the boss thinking, "This is it???" And then off I go into the dark world... New enemies, the endless exploration searching for that last quarter-heart container, wondering, just how the hell am I supposed to get up there...?
They just don't make them like they used to these days...
*sigh*

hey wait a second.
does majora's masks have ANYTHING to do with zelda?
OR JUST ABOUT LINK GETTING SOME GAY HALLOWEEN MASKS SO HE CAN PARTY WITH GILLIGAN'S ISLAND?
this game was not in any way what-so-ever allowed to have the name ZELDA included in the title.

The same could be said of any Zelda game then. They hardly ever have anything to do with that bitch.

Same here, but the countless Mini-Dungeons and over all length of the 4 Main Dungeons soured me on that game.
Windwaker was more enjoyable then MM.
My most hated parts in the 3 new Zelda Games.
The Fairy Find in MM.
The Sailing in WW.
The Water Temple's in both MM and OoT.
The Bottom of the Well in OoT.
The Side Quests in MM.

I liked Majoras Mask way more than OoT, i won't deny OoT was good, in fact its another of my fav's. If i had to list them it would be...
1. Majoras Mask
2. OoT
3. Link to the Past (got it on GBA, YO)

What is your impression of this new Dark Zelda game in the making?
Seeing how you picked one of the only other Darkish themed Zelda as your favorite.

yes, the new realistic one (even if some monsters have a cartoonish quality) is more commanly known as the Dark Zelda, seeing how it is "dark"

I wonder if they'll ever take advantage of Link being a different person every game or two and kill him off for a change.

I remember them showing screenshots of a realistic Zelda before Gamecube came out. They must have started it back up again.

I think this is different. The Spaceworld demo your talking about was just to show the power of the Gamecube, it also came with the 128 marios.

its an attempt to cash in on the Connectability and Gameplay of 'Link to the Past' It's basically a continuation if not port of the four swords. :(
Where did nintendo go wrong?

I think i told you not to post in this thread anymore.
Anyways, has anyone actually played four swords. It was really really fun and really well done. the most i played was up to 3 players. We got stuck on that damn fire temple.
I am seriously going to play this new one, my only beef with 4S is that my friend kept jacking my goods to the point where i had only 4 hearts and he had something like 7. Course he did that in FF:CC too, im not playing games with him anymore.

Yoinkers... you get them in every game that requires teamwork.
Halo and Brute Force sucked with my friends the Yoinkers.
(Of course Brute Force sucked anyways.)

Four Sourds Adventures looks pretty damned cool. It uses the top down 2D look but it still sports awesome GCN graphics. Explosions, magic, etc. And the amount of enemies on the screen some times is crazy. I got this thing to renew my Nintindo Power subscription and they offer the subscription, the game, players guide, and an autrographed shirt (though it's printed on, but still kinda cool), for like 73 bucks. Not bad for all that stuff.
BTW, you can play it by yourself too.

I liked MM. It wasn't OoT but I liked it.
LttP is my favorite and it stands up to the test of time fine for me. It depends if you're a big fan of the game and the 2D adventure style. It only takes 2-4 hours to play through the entire game. It goes fast after you have beaten it before so it doesn't bore me unless I beat it too many times over.
MM was a side quest and people love bitching about it. It was a good game though.
I need to play through Ages/Seasons. That's one I never played all the way through. Good stuff though.
