Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I've been trying to avoid any information on this like The Plague. It's going to suck. The first one sucked. This one is going to suck. But how much it was going to suck, I didn't want to know.

Now, I'm going through my latest EGM, and they have a picture Mila Jovovovovovich. I'm not gonna take the time to scan it, and I'm too lazy to go find a better pic. But:

Well, at least it's no dumber than her outfit in the first movie. But fucking hell, I want to kill everyone involved with this movie.

How the fuck did the 1st movie suck? Have you played the games before (I've barely played them)? Resident Evil (pretty sure) was about the 1st two games. Now Resident Evil 2...I dunno. I didn't have high hopes for the 1st one, but it turned out to be good. But from what I've seen of this flick...it doesn't look so good.

I've not played the games all too much (can't stand the controls), but I'm very familiar with the story of all the games. The first movie was supposed to be a "prequel" to the games, which RE0 thankfully destroyed. But the movie carried the story through the first two game, without so much as touching on either of them.

As a movie, it's mediocre with bad acting, directing, and plot. As an adaptation, it's an abomination that would make even Hitler stop and say "OK, enough is enough."

I could go on for pages ranting about how they butchered the story by making Jill just a regular RPD officer and excluding the STARS from the story and how they replaced the NEMISIS's RPG with a Vulcan Cannon, But damn did they have to make everyone look like they did in the games. They also pulled the clishe sci-fi sequel shit by making milla super strong and fast because when she was in a coma White Umbrella experimented on her. I'll probably go and see it. :(
