I just purchased this film, and I must say, it's slow.
The humor factor saves the slowness of the film.

Here is what reads off the back of the movie.
Bruce Campbell gives his greatest and most entertaining performance to date. As an aging and cantankerous "Elvis" in this "zinger-filled crowd-pleaser" from writer-director Don Coscarelli.
When mysterious deaths plauge a Texas retirement home, it's up to its most sequined senior citizen to take on a 3,000 year-old mummy with a panchant for cowboy boots, bathroom graffiti, and the sucking the souls of the barely living.
It sounds alot better then this movie.

But still, it IS funny, just takes while to build up speed. It's good enough to watch it again. So, I would recomend it. But renting it is a better choice then buying it.

I've heard the same thing, about it being really slow. Still, it's Bruce Campbell and I gotta at least give it a chance.

I rented it earlier today, gonna watch it later on. I'll probably buy it even if it's not good. I do like extras...

More truth then not.

Seeing Bruce Campbell lurch behing his walker, "hurrying" to anywhere is just plain hilarious.
