Need Asst. - Resident Evil 2 PC Warez - Can't Save

DL'd a copy of RE2 and the in-game save function doesn't work. It'll save using the typewriter, but when you exit the game and try to load it says, "Load Failed". I changed the directory and made sure the saved files were in the right place. Still doesn't work.

Is there a save state function I could use instead?

Anyone dealt w/ this before?

I had the same problem and re-downloading it of course didn't solve the problem and neither did anything else I tried. Sorry, but I think that unless you get an iso or something it's fucked.
