I watched the very first night of Adult Swim and at the time, it was the best thing on TV. Now it's so horribly gayed up I can't stand it.

It used to be magical; like even the bad shows were watchable because they were just small parts of this awesome, ineffable block of great television. I used to get excited for it, and want to discuss it as soon as it was over. But now I have about 3 adult swim blocks on my TIVO, that I'll eventually fast forward through most of.

The only thing that made Adult Swim good was Space Ghost. The only reason I cared about Adult Swim was that it had new Space Ghost episodes. The other shows were just plesant suprises that I didn't care about untill I saw them. Aqua Teen Hunger Force had the Mooninites episode, which was a fucking masterpeice the first time it aired. The first season of Sealab was unbeleivably good, and simple. The Brak Show might have been over-hyped, but It was at it's best in the first year. Birdman seemed like it might become a funny show. Since then, Adult Swim just gradually got worse, untill it became [adult swim], like it is now. The last time Adult Swim was REALLY great, was when there were new Space Ghost episodes. The same feeling of joy that I got when Adult Swim first came on was suddenly back. And after maybe 12 weeks, it disappeared.

There is no reason why Space Ghost (new or in reruns, edited or unedited) shouldn't be on Adult Swim. Space Ghost is the Mickey Mouse of Adult Swim. They should get rid of the black and white bumpers and have it all be Cartoon-Planet style animated Space Ghost doing short skits in between each show. Bumpers should be cut or added to make room for complete unedited versions of Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

I'm really fucking depressed. ABOUT A TV SHOW.

that is way too fucking long to wait. space ghost is the only show ever made that i can say i really and truly love. they should show reruns from the very beginning and play them through every night. like they do with ATHF and sealab
