The cake thing reminds me of the "Bill Cosby, as Himself" special ,or whatever it was called.

Where he gave his children chocolate cake for breakfast because the ingredients included eggs, milk, and grain.

On BBC America, there is (was?) a talk show called So Graham Norton. Maybe Comedy Central bought the rights to air it.
