I have loved this guy for a while now, and just got my first CD of his that wasn't burned. The reason for this is because I can never find any of his albumbs anywhere. There any major chains that carry him?

That is one of the CD's I want, both those songs are off that "People named Eluhu" (whatever its called) albumb that I can't find. So tell me where to find it instead of giving me little hints that to confirm you also listen to him.
I don't dare conclude that this means that I will never find him.

curious...that's what we say about Alabama...except the weather isn't cold....and we all play banjoes and rape strangers in the outhouses.....but other than that.....

We got to see Atom a couple years ago in Hollywood. He was absolutely the coolest! My husband totally has a crush on him.

why do you wanna go thru a chain when you could buy directly from him? http://www.atomandhispackage.com/merchandise.html

Yeah I don't have any CD's of his but I downladed some of his mp3 a year ago and they were amazing.

I am green over you subterfuge. I would love to watch how he makes his music. I hope to get ahold of some of his tour videos, since I have never heard of him coming to Seattle. And if ever does I am likely to miss him.

He makes music with his package. And sometimes a guitar. I've gotta say, I've never seen a one man show rock so much. Nor have I ever seen a one man show.
But, sadly, I think he stopped touring. I could be wrong. But I remember reading his tour journal or his updates page, and I thought he said something about quitting.
Do you have an Amoeba Music store where you live? They sell all kinds of his stuff at the one in Hollywood.

Well, I am not exactly up to date on the music scene so all the hip joints to find records aren't familiar, there might be an Amoeba (barely anything I listen to is younger than me).
And I doubt he is done touring forever. He is fairly young, and he still needs to pay the rent and eat the food. But I am not going to check his website every week for the next 10 years to make sure I catch him.

Then use the mail order address. This guy is clearly not with the major-label program, so don't expect to be able to buy his stuff at Tower Records. Do you have any indie music shops in your town?

going on tour = making it even harder to pay the rent and eat the food.

This isn't MC Hammer we are talking about. I woulden't call plugging in a few synthesizers that expensive.

gas money and the awful habit your job has where they stop paying you when you leave to go on tour... and then your car breaks down... and then you get sick...
