This is about the 4th "Earthbound is underrated" thread I've seen on just this gaming forum. It is fucking not. Most gamers have heard of it. Most gamers like it. It was my first RPG and in my top 5. Shut the fuck up about Earthbound.
I'd say "Creatures" was an under-rated game. So much fun. Hatch some Norns, teach em words, make some babies, genetic experiments, grendel fights. It was so great.

I hated earthbound, especially the nausiating battle scenes.
Adventure Island 2 and 3. 1 sucks, but the other too are pretty cool.

Black and White is a pretty new Zelda-like ps2 title that I like a good bit.
The Incredible Toon machine, three dollar game I picked up at Sams Club. Spent many hours on it's puzzles.

EVO was sweet. I don't remember how many times I rented it from Movie Time when I was a kid.
Anyway, while I doubt it's the most under-rated game, I'd say ruthless.com ranks somewhat high on that list.

Arcanum was great in both plot and gameplay, a rare thing among games. Also, Bungie's Myth series, which was even better than Halo, didn't get nearly enough players, despite probably being superior to any other RTS on the market to this date.

In my experiance, The Adventures of Lolo seems underrated. I'm not a big gamer but it seems like whenever I mention it few people know what I'm talking about.

Was Lolo always intended to be an independent character, or did they only later decide he should be a villain in half a dozen Kirby games?

I always thought that Bionic Commando, the NES version was pretty badass. Especially the japanese version with all the Nazi references in tact.
