I didn't know Shellac was considered math rock. Why didn't somebody tell me? Well, what other math rock should I be on the lookout for?

slave, you might want to check out The Tori then. pirate themed math rock with no vocals. they're pretty cool.

I've been finding some new stuff at http://www.epitonic.com/genres/mathrock.html
carnivore, I looked for the Tori, but so far only found ten million pages about Tori Amos. I found some writeup for a sweatfest but no mp3s. I'll try soulseek though I fear the same results.

I'm not sure why you're so upset to find out you like math rock. It's not like the term refers to people who sing about the quadratic formula, it just refers to the odd time signatures and tempo changes - and its less nerdy, long winded and self indulgent than prog.
Some stuff I like that some consider math: Slint, Drive Like Jehu, Thumbnail, Don Cab.
