Polysics - japanese mentalists

Saw this Japanese band last night...absolutely fucking insane, amazing musicians, like a really fucking heavy Devo on crack and acid. Plus they all had the boiler suits and wacky specs on:

i used to like these guys pretty well. i haven't heard any recent stuff, though. there used to be a pretty rad site with loads of free full albums in mp3 form, and they had all of the polysics stuff (at the time), but it appears to be gone. i'll download their most recent one soon and give it a listen.

There is a best of just being released over here called 'Polysics or die' that looks pretty cool. Rumour has it one of devo is producing their next album...

I havn't heard someone say "Rad" since the eight grade :/ I like Cibo Matto and some other Japanese bands that I havn't listened to in years...

cibo matto's 1st album was great, polysics rule and mad capsule market owns

Th mad capsules and polysics are definitely two of the best and maddest bands I have ever seen. God bless Japan!

Black Out Fall Out is very nifty. I think i like it better than everything else so far on For Young Electric Pop, but that's not to say the others are without merit. This is some enjoyable tunes, it is :O
