A friend of mine talked me into buying "As Palaces Burn". It turned out to be a damn good album, so I was wondering are the other albums by lamb of god any good?

Yes, they are. They're actually from right here in Richmond, VA where they were originally known as Burn The Priest. I have that album you just got and it's probably their best if you ask me. They definitely have some other really good albums though, so check 'em out.

lamb of god and shadows fall are the only mainstream bands i like... but i dont watch much tv.

"new american gospel" is nasty too.

New American Gospel is much better than As The Palaces Burn, it has a much more unrefined feel that fits them much better. The vocals on New American Gospel are completely uniteligable, and that is great.

I personally like AS THE PALACES BURN more then their other. All of their albums are good, though.. real good band. :( I had a chance to see them live last year but i couldnt go. >:
