I hope M. Night is done with the OMG! endings now. The Village looks good, but if everything in the movie's just there to make a dumb twist work AGAIN I'll be pissed. It worked in 6th Sense, it seemed a bit wobbly in Unbreakable, and it fell on its face in Signs.

Am I the only person who fucking hated watching the sixth sense for the second time?
I've seen the trailer and I think I can already see the ending coming a mile away.

The monsters will actually be the people in the town. They turn into were-bulls at night and maul anything colored red.

I saw The Village last night. It was pretty decent, but extremely predicatble. You can figure out the main twist in the first five minutes, and then about halfway through, you see the truth. There's no surprise, really. :/

I think i'd enjoy the movie by not seeing it, so i'll never know what the twist was. :O

This movie was a huge let-down. Out of all his movies, I liked this one the least. :/

This one was better than Signs, I think. At least there was a really hot blind chick in this movie.
As for what the twist is, it turns out that the creatures really just want to be friends, and eating people is their way of showing affection. :(

This movie was terrible. It was pretty much over half way through when they revealed the big twist. However, since the movie keeps going, you think there is going to be another twist, but instead the movie just ends abruptly. :(

The movie sounds really slow, and it must suck watching a movie where all you're really doing is waiting for a twist. The director should have varied the types of movies he did.

I do have to say this is the worst movie I have seen in a long while.
First they ruin the whole thing with the first twist but then they have a chance to reclaim themselves only to let us down yet again. All in all there where three let downs in the movie and nothing worth paying $7 for.

there werent no hamsters. the ending was amazingly gay. was too fucking predictable. M night's just not scary anymore.
P.S. Anyone hear about the Comic and TV show for Unbreakable? It outlines the adventures of security man.

As a thriller/suspense movie it sucked.
I also kept expecting someone to say something along the lines of, "Don't go into the woods, you could be eaten by a Gru"
But, I overall enjoyed the concept of the movie. The extent of how fear keeps people in check. That a ugly secret is what holds together worlds of "perfection"
Reminded me of the Giver.

The Village would have made a good 30-minute Twilight Zone. Not a feature length film.

to me, sixth sense was a joke so its safe for you to say that i never liked m night's works and never will. his style just isnt my thing. i barely have to partipicate into watching any of his movies to even predict what will happen next, it is soooo obvious, it doesnt take a retarded kid to figure it out.
