I MIGHT be able to go to this as well, but it's entirely likely that I will either be out of town that weekend for other reasons, or that I will already have company. Assuming neither of those is the case and you would want to drive an extra two hours down to Richmond, I could possibly put you up. But I don't want to make any promises yet...I'm in the stage of trying to formulate my plans for that weekend with other people now.

Ronnie, I would love to meet you, if you have the time to do it. I don't know what you're going to be in DC for, or how long it's going to be, but it's only like a two hour drive for me. I would seriously enjoy meeting you for lunch and maybe hanging out and checking out some of the sites with you guys. And I KNOW Jaeger would want to come along.

Because I've heard that he's not as "out there" in person, and I'm sure he's a perfectly nice guy to talk music and other non-political topics with. I just like meeting people from the boards, I like putting a face to the name...I know something like 30 mockers in person now and I haven't been disappointed by a single one yet.

I may not agree with much of what Ronnie says, but I do enjoy having him around. It keeps things interesting.

Well, my idea was to leave Friday morning-ish and return Sunday preferably or perhaps Monday. We would drive. Rog has offered his place, which is 90 minutes or so from DC? The protest is at noon I believe. I don't have any other details. How does that sound?

Do you have lab animals at work? If so, do you have tranq darts? We'll need them. I can't imagine you and Sheila not being at each other's throat having to be in the same car together for nine hours. Aside from my preference for leaving Monday instead of Sunday, all seems fine to me. I get out of work at 8:00 AM on Friday morning. We can leave immediately after that.
