hah.. at first i didn't get it, then almost...yeahman.. something like that, it's bad, yes, but he doesnt seem to care about the lives affected by voicing dissent, even in a peacefull assembly, crimes are going down that involve multibillion dollar contracts and tens of thousands of lives being written off as good policy while our handlers are armed to the teeth. we change it with a riot? thats, like, suicide dude.

A riot doesn't sound bad at all. :/

greetings ror, man i wish i had gone.. but then i wouldnt be able to tape the broadcasts of the rallies... anyone on this board getting to see FSTV via the Dish Network? good stuff.
i see the headlines of yesterday's peaceful march claim it was 100,000 people when people who were there say there were between 500,000 and 700,000. heh, i guess i'm not surprised.

I believe in dissent and protesting public policy and all, but what's the point of protesting the RNC? Shouldn't just not voting Republican be more effective? It's not like they're going to look at half a million democrats and say to themselves, "shit, they've organized a rally, I guess we can't run in the election this time."

It's the most effective movement since Mothers Against Drunk Driving!
Then again, in a country where some people vote based on the person they think is most likely to win, getting a mass of people together to proclaim who they're gonna vote for might actually work. A little.

fatsatan:
ill take a stab at that..
say you vote, call your representatives, write the paper, and campaign but still have 70% or more of you taxes killing people for imperial profit..and the news consistantly misrepresenting the anti-corporate empire viewpoints. don't you think you might be a little miffed that you havn't gotten through to the administration and the media?
at least that's why i hit the streets with a sign now and then. besides, its often a fun time to get together with people you agree with.
