I am. Well, a little.
I've never played an MMORPG before and I'm more than a little wary of how they can take over some people's lives, but Blizzard claims that one of their goals for this game has been to make it so you don't have to be playing 24/7 to enjoy the game or build a good character.
With that out of the way, the concept of playing alongside and against hundreds of other people sounds awfully fun. And when it comes to game worlds, Warcraft's is definitely one of my favorites. Plus I have plenty of faith in Blizzard's dedication to make games that are solid and fun.
Of course there's also the playing fee which has yet to be established, and I can't estimate it since I have no material for comparison. I definitely wouldn't want to risk getting obsessed with a game that simultaneously sucks up your time and your money.
All the same, I'll at least want to try it out. Anyone else feel the same way?
