Dude, sports' "haiku" in his signature isnt one. Its 3, then 5, then 3, but normal ones are 5, 7, 5.

There's bigger news here:

"Many Adult Swim cartoons will come to TBS on Fridays starting in October. This will include Futurama, Baby Blues, and MR. SHOW! For the first time on cable Mr. Show comes to TBS, fridays, starting in October."

This is from tvtome.com's Mr. Show page, and a lot of the times they don't know what the fuck they are talking about. But MR. SHOW on TBS is a pretty big deal. NOT Family Guy, which was on regularly in the afternoons on TBS just a few months ago, along with Futurama.

"Many Adult Swim cartoons will come to TBS" - but none of them are ACTUALLY Adult Swim cartoons :x

Wow, it's great that more people will get to see Mr. Show, but man they're going to have to cut the shit out of it :(

I'm wondering how Mr. Show will be end up being presented. Sure they'll censor it, but most Mr. Shows are around 26-30 minutes long. Since the show has smooth transitions into sketches, commercial placement would be difficult, and cutting some sketches for time wouldn't work very well since Mr. Show references its episode's previous sketches throughout, at least sometimes. :(

I'm afraid it'll be butchered to a point where it's almost unwatchable. :(

TBS always butchers things to the point uf unwatchability. They go through and edit it for content to pussy it down to a PG rating, then they cut it for time.

Well, comedy central used to show Monty Python's Flying Circus with commercial breaks. It was a little awkward, they just cut out before a transition started or sometimes in the middle of a transition. Then they'd just cut back to it.

The difference between Mr. Show and Monty Python is that Mr. Show sketches ALWAYS have a begining and an end. Monty Python didn't always do that. I'm guessing they would lose some transitions all together for time, and it'll only look REALLY bad sometimes. I totally think Mr. Show could work for basic cable, but I always wished it would end up on Comedy Central. Maybe Mr Show secretly shot clean versions of their sketches, like episodes of "Dream On" did.

I think a clean version of Mr. Show would be really bad. :/

The comedy network here showed Mr. Show with commercial breaks, and it worked out ok, but they didn't censor anything so the flow of the show worked. It's going to be weird, but I'm glad they'll be getting the money and exposure they deserve.
