I remember my friend Greg loved that show "Three's company" and I fucking hated it >: He was a gay guy with two hot chicks and nothing happened...is that the humour? the stupid irony that a gay guy get's two hot chicks? I don't think that's very funny :/

he wasn't gay he had to PRETEND to be gay because the Roepers (the landlords) didn't want any DIRTY stuff going on so the girls told them that he was gay so that they'd approve of his living with them jeez louise its easy as pie!

Well, it was roughly the same premise (except Richard O'sullivan wasn't gay in it), but I don't know if it was a remake....quite possibly.

Probably so. They made a Dutch version of it too, halfway through the 90s.

TV Land did a big marathon of Three's Company a few years ago because they were promoting the fact that they were showing it for the first time on their network or something like that.

It included a showing of the pilot of both Three's Company AND Man About the House, back to back, and they were almost exactly the same.

haha yeah, they didn't just copy the concept, they copied the scripts too. I guess the gay thing was just creative license.
