I have these electric guitars, a Black Ibanez RG 550, a cherry black Schecter C1+ and an amber Dean FTx.
I also have a Vox Brain May special amp and a Vox tonelab effects processor which I run through my stereo. I use .009 gauge D'arrio string on my Ibanez, and .010 gauge D'arrio on the others.
So what kind of stuff do ya have?

*instruments*
a blue danelectro 6-string guitar. i have no clue what model number or year. it sounds pretty cool, i guess.
pearl export series drumset with contact mics all over it at the moment.
oberheim ob-xa. my love.
moog opus 3.
casio sk-1.
modified sk-1 w/ loop-function, octave body contacts, infinite sample mod, and a patchbay.
two homemade theremins. one makes more of a tapping sound and the other is a more traditional "sci-fi" theremin.
two circuit-bent speak & maths and a bent speak & spell. all have similar bends... octave, loop, hold, glitch, distortion, fuzz, and gibberish.
a circuit-bent childrens' keyboard (playskool?) w/ really gnarly body contacts added.
circuit-bent micro jammer. really intense octave contacts turning generic rap beats into crawling dirt cockroach sounds.
a few circuit-bent childrens' keytars. not done with 'em. eh, lots of other circuit-bent shit that i don't feel like typing out now that i think about it.
a didgeridoo and a rain-maker.
lots of half-broken tape machines and shit. most have been modified.
*pedals*
danelectro mini's out the ass! an overdrive, distortion, flange, and octave.
danelectro fab-tone and reel echo.
big muff (tha' black one)
soundshimmer noise swash
rat distortion
dod envelope filter fx25
some unmarked wah pedal
*other*
radio shack reverb unit that i bow down and worship for it's power of infinitely random feedback loopage.
a biiig fucking vintage amplifier that looks like a spaceship control that i got from a friend for $100 'cuz he thought it was broken. i fixed it and along with two small practice amps have got a fucking great sound out of it.
lots of homemade shit... masses of springs that have been mic'ed, ladder wars, two antfarms, etc.

Ibanez bass compressor
Fostex X-26 Multi track recorder (spilled beer on it) it's sticky.
Cubasis VST (getting cubase soon)
rack mount boss digital reverb
Crappy electric guitar

Gibson Les Paul studio version. An ESP explorer which I'm currently using for the other band I joined which tunes at C for christ's sake.
A non-descript midi keyboard.
Two classical guitars which I don't care what brand they are.
Two amps, one small 30 watt practice one which I like best and one bigger that I've borrowed I'm not sure from whom Laney 100 watt or something. I actually record with the practice amp though, since I like how it limits the middle on it's own.
One shitty computer mic I've had all my life and I'm perfectly happy with.
An ibanez distortion, a 10 brand EQ, a volume pedal, an old zoom multieffect, the dreaded orange boss distortion, and an assortment of slide bottlenecks, from metal, glass and some sort of china.
Also, on software, Adobe Audition, Soundforge and Buzz. Buzz is actually my favourite instrument at the time.

If you have samples of all kinds and you're willing, I'm setting up a DSL connection soon and I'd really like it if you could give me select stuff. It's going for a good 'cause I'm telling you.

what kind of samples are you looking for?
i'm actually pretty "anti-sample". i could possibly send you some stuff that a friend of mine uses.
as for me, the only samples i have are the ones that come with the programs i have.
my usual setup (though it changes a lot) is to record via vegas and then stream that through buzz with the winamp plugin and put whatever effects or whatever i want on it, then run it through cooledit for final effects or edits and then pump it back into vegas and repeat process for next track. lots of people ask me who recorded me and how much i payed. it sounds pretty nice, i guess.

Iron: Mainly, I'm looking for percussive sounds. I track most drum tracks in buzz, but just having one good drumset ( after loooots of looking around in the 'net one was the best I could find) just doesn't work for all kinds of music and I'm severily limited in cymbal sounds. I have the standard smashy sounding crashes and chinas, but for dynamics I need gentle ride work and other such stuff. If you can find any such good stuff for me, let me know, I'd really appreciate it.
Adobe Audition is the new Cooledit, yeah. And it's the same thing as the last cooledit version, currently. It's awesome for mixing (at least for non-professionals).

LOLOL. Brain May. Sent by the zombie king to spread the rock and/or the roll amongst the living. It got a cheap little smile out of me.
My musical gear is a guitar and a harmonica. The only thing I've done with them is dust them off occasionally. I have no business being in this thread and I only posted about my instruments to comply with the rules of this discussion. Do not ask me the kind of instruments they are, for I will not be able to answer you and it would only lead to hatred between you and me. I want to love you, please understand that.

My friend that is a musician told me not to buy the tube amp...He said it was a "total stage amp" and recommended that I just get a practice amp...Went to a local music shop and got a roland cube 30 with cool effects for $200 bucks and it doesn't have a scratch on it. :)

:( i feel like a noob.
I just have a BC Rich bronze editon warlock, a Zoom GFX4 FX box , a fender bullet bass, an old yamaha acustic guitar and a crappy Calsbro amp. I have been planning to get a new guitar or some active pickups for about 2 years but never have enough cash. :(
