Conan's interviews are just as scripted as Lenos.

Letterman has a funner interview and a funnier personality than Conan. Conan's show can get repetative as fuck, but there are moments on that show that are funnier than anything currently on television. The scripted stuff on Letterman isn't funny, but Letterman outshines it, and makes it hysterical sometimes. Conan is too self-depricating, and sometimes he ruins what could be a good joke. Letterman simply doesn't give a shit.
