Golden Globe winner The Shield is, should I say was the only new show that I was watching. It stars Emmy, Golden Globe winning actor Michael Chiklis as the corrupted Det.Vic Mackey.

It's a gritty police drama that I highly recommend, but unfortunatly over here in Canada the second season hasn't started yet, and I'm having a tough time getting some hard answers on when the new season will air.

I like the shield, but that was a really lame description. Look at SISKEL over here! :rolleyes :lol

The Shield rocks. Remind me to get Season 1 on disc when I get the cash. By the way, you notice that the Max Payne jacket is fast becoming the symbol for corrupt/dangerous cops?

I remember Lifetime had the rights to the Commish but I'll be damned if they still run it. I should check, but since it was entertaining to everyone, I imagine it's been replaced by reruns of Golden Girls and Designing Women.
