Because we aren't concerned with artistic vision or anything and we just really like playing loud music. So far, we've got me on rhythm guitar and maybe vocals, a really solid drummer, and a good bass player. And no songs to play yet, aside from a couple of Metallica tunes.

Suggestions?

I'm learning Paranoid by Black Sabbath :/ I'm not into all the new stuff that Helm know's. Depends on your taste in Metal.

Metallica is a pretty good way to start, they have a good range of songs to suit you skills on your intruments.
