i sometimes wonder just how many people actually believe shit like this:
"WARNING: The views represented in Confession Booth do not necessarily reflect the views of anybody but God.
The Almighty hereby takes all responsibility if your feelings are hurt and your self-esteem demolished."

Rebuttal: “But don’t some animals engage in homosexual activity? Doesn’t this prove it is natural?â€
Answer: Some animals like sheep do engage in homosexual behavior. However, this would only suggest that homosexuals have the IQ of sheep.
PERFECT LOGIC!!

Yes, because we all know that intelligence makes one more likely to breed correctly.
I wish smart and successful people wouldn't feel so obligated to muddy up the world gene pool by spawning like hyper-brainy rabbits. It's getting almost impossible to find even a newborn that will fall for my "detachable" thumb trick or to pull my finger... It's no wonder all our menial jobs are getting outsourced to foreign lands full of people so dumb they are chock full of homos to the point of facing extinction.
That made me dizzy. Dizzy's nice

If there ever was a candidate who emphasized ideals that were totally contrary to the essential principles of biblical Christianity, it was Bill Clinton! If you voted for Bill Clinton in 1992 or 1996, you owe this nation (and God) an apology.
-From the "democrats" page
I think the willful blindness of religous types is wonderful -- how war is a Christian value. Wasn't Jesus a pacifict? I'm not Christian but that's one thing I clearly remember learning about the guy. But I guess stem cells are far far worse than war. I can see the logic in that.
And if churches or religous institutions are going to preach politics, why the fuck are they still granted tax-free status? >:

If it was anything like the one i went to, they took all your stuff, including your medicine, and said all you need is God. Plus you only ate out of one bowl, drank out of one cup, and anytime you pissed someone off they made you dig a 5 x5 x 5 hole in good old mexican soil.

No, the last one I went to, people kept touching me, saying it was the "laying of hands" or something weird like that, and praying while their hands were smothering my head. And these people weren't even catholic priests, so there was no excuse for having their hands anywhere near me.
(probably would have stayed if there were hot chicks doing the "hands" thing)

That's the only reason i went! That and the escorting cop, but i coulda escaped earlier. But they're all, "You're going to mexico!" and at their base in perris near here there's men AND women, so i was like... In mexico? With a bunch of beautiful ladies? My my! Who could honestly refuse Mexico+beautiful women? They TRICK YOU. There was only like two women at the womens camp(was across the highway) and they were some ugly ass mexican girls, like 40 years old... the pastor stayed with the women, what a gentleman.

Yeah, they always try and trick you with the idea that women will be there, and then they expect you to stay anyways. Meh.. I just won't go...
Oh, and did that site just say that because I'm pro-choice, I'm also pro-rape?

"Patrick and Elizabeth Johnston reside in central Ohio with their four young home-schooled children. Patrick Johnston is a family practice physician and founder of the Muskingum County Association of Pro-life Physicians. He is Vice Chairman of the Constitution Party of Ohio. He is committed to restoring Biblical law and constitutional government in America. He is also active in street ministry and is the author of many articles."
I wonder what they did with the fourth child... She was probably born with brown hair or brown eyes, so they thought she was possessed and was consequently stoned to death.[/i]

Their quote, KJV version:
Exodus 21:22-25: If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt
give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
Darby Version
22 And if men strive together, and strike a woman with child, so that she be delivered, and no mischief happen, he shall in any case be fined, according as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and shall give it as the judges estimate. 23 But if mischief happen, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 branding for branding, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. 26
Revised Standard Version
"When men strive together, and hurt a woman with child, so that there is a miscarriage, and yet no harm follows, the one who hurt her shall be fined, according as the woman's husband shall lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 If any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
Fined. It says fined. FINED! IT ISN'T MURDER UNLESS THE WOMAN DIES!
No wonder these fundies want the Bible to remain in the KJV version, they know that every other translation will show what idiots they are. I'm going to double check how exactly the translation works out from the Hebrew, but I think this is what it says.
Its hilarious how they pull these passages out and don't realize that they contradict their arguement.

Not sure since I don't remember where I would have even seen a bible recently, but didn't that Jesus fellow more or less denounce that whole "eye for an eye" thing, and say some thing about turning the other cheek?

If a group of men in their endeavors, whatever they may be, harms a pregnant woman so badly that she miscarries, no matter the situation or whether the harm was intended, he should be subject to some appropriate punishment, but if he also injures the mother, he should be injured just as he injured her, even if that means killing him after he experiences the injuries that led to her death (if he killed the mother.)

The astronomer makes similar reasonable assumptions when he listens into the most distant parts of the universe with his microwave telescope listening for possible sensible patterns of sound. If a sensible pattern of sound data could be found coming from another region of space, then there lies conclusive evidence that intelligence exists outside of our world, even if they do not know who is making the sound!
But do they worship the same god? Do they follow christ?
OR ARE THEY SINFUL HOMOSEXUALS?!
