I know you people have seen his work (http://vincelocke.com) before, but maybe you didn't know who it was by. He's the fellow who is responsible for all of Cannibal Corpse's album covers, some infamous, some not. I was intrigued by his art with them and decided to check his site out. His drawings aren't really all that interesting, but his paintings fucking own. See below.

I normally hate dark art to death, mainly because it is overdone and boring; and even though this guy has many of the generic boring dark work, things like this make him awesome:

Yeah, that's easily the top of the heap. I don't want to sound like a pretentious fag or anything, but it really reminds me of what i am trying to do with my own work. The arm, anyway, all my figures look like malnourished, disproportionate weirdos. And i don't blame you for not liking much of his stuff. I feel the same way about fantasy art, but i think he strikes a nice blend with some of his pieces. Besides, i can't hate a guy who adds so much blood to all of his album covers.

Those are awesome. I only wish I could paint that good. :(
