October 22, 2004 - Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced Alien Vs Predator for home video release on January 25, 2005, for a suggested price of $29.98.
The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and feature English DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, along with French Dolby Digital 5.1 and Spanish Dolby 2.0 surround sound.
Extras will include two commentaries. The first will be by director Paul W.S. Anderson and actors Lance Henriksen and Sanaa Lathan. The second will feature FX guys Alec Gillis, Tom Woodruff Jr. and John Bruno. Other extras include an alternate opening version of the film, a making-of featurette and three deleted scenes.
There will also be a Darkhorse AVP comic covers galley containing sixty-five stills and DVD-ROM version of Darkhorse's first edition of the AVP comic book and an exclusive look at the first 16 pages of the upcoming AVP graphic novel.

:/ Sounds a little disappointing. Hope there's some sort of director's cut/special edition coming out soon afterwards. And yes...sounds like it's 2 sided >: I think...I am officially...dissappointed with Paul Anderson. Also Fox released ''Aliens vs Predators: Extiction for PS2 last yr.
